LAMRA was set up with 4 main objectives. These are:

  • To provide a forum where company representatives can meet to identify and jointly pursue research interests of mutual benefit.
  • To improve marketing and market research standards within the Financial Services Industry and to give market research a higher profile within the industry.
  • To develop a greater understanding within the Financial Services Industry of the value of the current and future applications of market research.

About LAMRA

  • Current membership stands at approximately 30 companies
  • Meetings are held 3 times per year
  • Meetings are usually held in provider offices at locations in London or Edinburgh
  • LAMRA management is by way of a Chair(s) & Vice Chair(s)
  • Elections are held for these positions on an annual basis in the form of initial nominations followed by a ballot
  • The Vice Chair(s) has an automatic nomination for Chair in the following year
  • Elections are held in the Autumn with the Management changeover the following March.
